Who doesn't love a good five-points-of-Congregationalist-doctrine joke?
Came across this image on Wikipedia, originally from the February, 1873 edition [archive.org] of the magazine, Our Young Folks.
No idea if it's supposed to represent an actual occurrence (I'm leaning no), but I love how unhappy the two of them look. John has a surly pout and the man carrying him is very sad at his lot.
